What is E-S-P?

Three Rivers Land Trust does a lot, but when you break down our mission, it is quite simple. We aim to expand public access, save family farms, and protect local waters. If we want the places we love to be around for future generations, the time to act is now.

 Expanding Public Lands.

Since 1995, TRLT has transferred over 8,000 acres of land to the public trust, ensuring future generations of outdoor enthusiasts have places to hike, paddle, hunt, and fish. Local parks, state parks, national forest, and game lands have all been expanded thanks to the work of Three Rivers Land Trust, but it can’t be done without your support.

Saving Family Farms.

To date TRLT has conserved over 17,000 acres of local farmland. Those farms are not only important for what they produce, but also because they enrich all of us by their genuine beauty which largely comprises our region’s rural character. Sadly, local farms are under immense development pressure, the time to save the farm is now.

Protecting Local Waters.

Having access to clean water is important, which is why Three Rivers Land Trust has protected over 300 miles of river and stream frontage. These now conserved riparian corridors act as a natural filter for our region’s rivers and lakes. This natural filtration system enhances the water quality of our region’s important drinking water sources.

Do your part today.

With immense development pressure, we are losing our land. From the trails that we hike and the land we hunt, to the fields that produce the food we eat and the clothes we wear, to the rivers that supply you and your family with water, it all must be protected before it is too late.

If we want future generations to have the same experience on the land we are so fond of, we have to conserve it now. We must ensure that future generations have access to the mountains we hike in and the rivers we paddle. We must ensure that future generations are able to have locally grown food and clothes to wear. We must ensure that future generations have access to clean water.

Help us expand public lands, save family farms, and protect local waters with your donation today.
