4.28 acre Conservation Easement
The buffer protected behind the Salisbury YMCA is a vital component of our Grant’s Creek initiative. The property is located in the midst of Salisbury’s most urban areas. Thus, it provides much needed filtering for overland flow prior to entering the Creek. The buffer will also help protect the Creek against forthcoming development of the associated uplands into recreational fields. The YMCA buffer contains nearly 1,200 of frontage along Grant’s Creek.
