Hike the Tot Hill Loop
Primary Route: Start from the Tot Hill Trailhead, hike south on Birkhead Mountain Trail, take Hannah’s Creek Trail and Robbins Branch Trail to make a loop that connects back to Birkhead Mountain Trail and return to Tot Hill Trailhead

Trailhead: Tot Hill Trailhead, 3091 Tot Hill Farm Rd, NC 27205.
Hiking Directions: Click here to see a map of trails in Birkhead Mountain Wilderness. Beginning from the Tot Hill Trailhead, head south on the Birkhead Mountain Trail. Continue for a good distance, and then turn right onto Hannah’s Creek Trail. Hike until you reach Robbins Branch Trail – turn right. When you reach the Thornburg Trail at the end of Robbins Branch Trail, turn right onto Thornburg for a short while until you rejoin the Birkhead Mountain Trail. Head north on Birkhead Mountain Trail to return to Tot Hill Trailhead.
