Jazz on the Rails

Join us and indulge in the history and luxury of a bygone era as you walk through the glory of these Gilded Age train cars while supporting historic preservation and land conservation in central North Carolina.

We are proud to have the opportunity to partner with Aberdeen Carolina & Western Railway for a wonderful day of music, cocktails, and food. This unique and exclusive fundraising event for the Three Rivers Land Trust will provide our guests with a step back in time with the sounds of a three-piece Jazz band as you walk through the beautifully restored early 1900’s train cars. Sip on a Bourbon Boxcar (Southern Grace Distilleries at Mt. Pleasant Prison) or a (Covington Sweet Potato Vodka), while you dine on delicious items from Thyme and Place Cafe and learn about the amazing things the Three Rivers Land Trust is doing right here in the Sandhills and Piedmont of NC. Explore the history held within each of these amazing train cars, and hear first hand what it took to bring them back to the luxurious cars they are today.

The historic train will be set stationary at Pinehurst No. 1 – 100 Beulah Hill Road South, Pinehurst North Carolina.

Guests of this event will receive a custom made gift honoring this occasion, along with raffle tickets for items unique to the counties supported by the Three Rivers Land Trust. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase.
