How it works
When you visit Hoke County to complete your Challenge miles, don’t forget to log your activity on our event page at runsignup.com. When you submit your results and log your activity, make sure to add in the comment section that you completed a trail or paddle at a preferred County Trek Spot!! This will make you eligible to win the top spot for Most Adventurous Challenger, given to the individual who travels to the most County Trek Spots across the state!

More on this attraction: Calloway Forest contains excellent examples of open, fire-maintained, longleaf pine forest. Much of the preserve consists of mature, 80-100 year-old longleaf pines with a dense wiregrass understory.

About Hoke Community Forest: This 532-acre property, located north of the county seat Raeford and about a mile south of Fort Bragg, is the result of a unique public-private partnership that includes the county, state and federal governments, community groups and youth leaders. It will be actively managed for conservation, economic, recreation, educational and community benefits.
