Creek Week is a week-long celebration of local waters throughout North Carolina. Join Three Rivers Land Trust Hiking Club as we celebrate Creek Week, August 23nd, 2021 with a family friendly two-mile nature hike at the Fred and Alice Stanback Educational Forest and Nature Preserve (Spencer Woods) in downtown Spencer. This hike will be guided by TRLT Conservation Director, Crystal Cockman. This is the perfect opportunity for both children and adults to get outside and experience the beauty of nature.
Join us for a Guided Group Sunset Paddle! We will meet and launch at the York Hill Boat Access at 7:00pm. We will paddle up the Yadkin river for about an hour facing sunset, then turn around and float back with the full moon as our guide.
At Three Rivers, we believe conserving our rural landscapes and protecting our family farms is paramount. Join us on Friday, October 8, 2021 in Mooresville, NC at the Charles Mack Citizen Center as we aim to help landowners achieve their conservation goals.
In addition to guest speakers Kip Adams and Dr. Grant Woods, speakers will include the NC Wildlife Resource Commission, National Deer Association, US Forest Service, Attorneys Specializing in Conservation Easements, and our very own TRLT Staff.
