The Murdoch property was protected via conservation easement in February of 2002. The 4 acre tract provides a mature bottomland hardwood buffer along nearly 400 feet of Grant’s Creek. This property’s conservation values are enhanced due to its adjacency to a heavily developed section of Salisbury. Furthermore, it has provided a tremendous boost to the efforts of the Grant’s Creek Project in its local community.
