.8 * Join us October 9th at 9:30am as we paddle Tuckertown Reservoir.
Three Rivers Land Trust In September 2019, Phase I of the Alcoa Lands Project was completed. Phase I conserved 2,463 acres and 45 miles of shoreline along High Rock Lake. Now with the closure of Phase II Tuckertown, this project has conserved over 4,800 acres and 76 miles of shoreline along the Yadkin-Pee Dee. Tuckertown Reservoir, an impoundment of the Yadkin River, is known for its recreational opportunities and as a vital water resource for North Carolinians.
To celebrate this momentous achievement, the TRLT Paddle Club is hosting our next group paddle event in Tuckertown Reservoir on October 9th, 2021 at 9:30am. We launch from the Bringles Ferry Boating Access Area (3301 Bringle Ferry Road) and Paddle to the Flat Creek Access (450 Wildlife Access Road). This paddle is 3.8 miles and will take the group about two and a half hours to complete.
We encourage paddlers to organize their own shuttles. Limited shuttles will be available, but must be prearranged. Please contact email@example.com
