Hike Dunn’s Mountain Park Trail to spectacular views
Primary Route: Start at the trailhead in the parking lot just to the left of the restrooms and hike to the top of the mountain
Hiking Distance: ~0.5 miles round-trip on an out and back route.
Elevation Gain: ~100 feet in ¼ mile
Difficulty: Easy to moderate (short distance but steep climbs)
Trailhead: Dunn’s Mountain Nature and History Park
Hiking Directions: Beginning from the trailhead in the parking lot, follow the route inside of the fence line to the top of the mountain. Take a few minutes at the top to enjoy the vista that covers most of the southwestern Piedmont. Return to the parking lot on the same path.
