The LandTrust is partnering with Hands of a Sportsman to sponsor a youth deer hunt on September 24th on our Springer 
property in Davie County (approximately 1374 Point Rd, Mocksville, NC 27028). The hunt time is TBD but will be early morning.
Hands of a Sportsman is an organization that promotes education, friendship, and confidence-building opportunities for youths and the physically disabled. Participants redefine what it means to be “able” and transcend their disabilities through a filmed hunt with an experienced mentor. Hunts are shown on the Pass’n It On Outdoors television program on the Hunt Channel.
We are seeking a mix of disabled/challenged children and able bodied youth hunters to participate in the September 24th hunt. Participants must be 8-15 years old.
